CCPC Above The Rim

Central College Presbyterian Church (CCPC) is excited to begin Sports Ministry! We will kick off 2009 with CCPC Above The Rim Youth Basketball for students K-6. The purpose of Sports Ministry Programs at Central College Presbyterian Church is to provide opportunities for youth and adults to develop Christ-like character through athletics. The programs will provide a fun family sports environment where everyone can enhance their athletic skills.

SCHEDULE
      • The basketball season will begin January 12, 2008 and end March 28, 2008.
      • There will be co-ed teams for grades K-3. There will be boy teams and girl teams for grades 4-6.
      • All games will be played on Saturdays. First game will be Saturday, January 24, 2008.
      • 45 minute practices will be once a week on either Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays.
      • Every parent will receive a confirmation e-mail with a practice schedule and roster.
      • Every athlete will receive an award after the last game on Saturday, March 28, 2008.

FEES
• The cost for each player is $65 – this includes the cost of a jersey.
• The max per family per season is $130.

REGISTRATION
      • The deadline for winter basketball registration is December 12, 2008.
      • A $10 late fee will be added for registration forms received after December 12, 2008.
      • If you register by October 20, 2008 the cost is only $50!
      • Bring or Mail Registration Form and Fee for each participant to:

                                   The church office is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
