ADULT
Christian Education
aka Sunday School
Once you've
grown into adulthood, you still haven't outgrown our educational
offerings. We have an exciting variety of adult Sunday School classes
for people of all ages, lifestyles and needs.
Our Christian Education Leaders encourage a 2-hour comittment.
To go to a class to learn more and also going to worship our Lord at
one of the three morning worship services.
Adult Enrichment |
Meets: Sunday
morning at 11:00 in the church Lounge (above the kitchen). This
class is best suited for Christians of any faith level who would
like to increase their knowledge of the Bible and their answer
to Christ's call by discussing and answering life's most important
questions: 1. Why Are We Here? 2.
Why should I believe in God in the first place? 3. Why should
I trust the Bible? 4. Why is the world so messed up? 5. Why the
conflict - science and the Bible? 6. Why Jesus? On
November 18th we will begin our
session on "Why the Conflict-----
Science and the Bible?" It will be led by Roger Rudduck,
PhD. There
will be no session on Sunday, November
25th with the discussion
continuing on December 2nd. We expect firm opinions on both sides
of

MEETS: Sunday morning at 9:30
in the Georgetown Conference Room.
“Luke-ing for Jesus” To be more like Him. This is our hope as we begin
our study of the life of Jesus as told by Luke. Bring
your Bible, a cup of Joe and come on over to Georgetown,
(the building directly north of the
Sanctuary, across the driveway) at 9:30, September

MEETS: Each Tuesday from
7p-9:30p in Room AB. New Expanded Disciple Bible
Study series is scheduled to start this Fall with offerings
for beginners
and more options for study to accommodate our busy lifestyles.

Faithbuilders |
Meets Sunday morning at 11AM
in Room 110 (September-June).We
will be using The International Bible Lesson Commentary for
Sunday school lessons . For the fall will be studying Genesis,winter
will be Luke, and spring we will end with Chronicles,Daniel,
Haggai,and Nehemiah.

Family Connections |
MEETS:We invite you to
our Family Connections Sunday School class in Room 203 at
9:30
on Sunday mornings. Currently
studying The
Lord’s Prayer. Comprised
of mostly 40 somethings to early 50's, most have children
ranging from late elementary to college age. The class, led
by members, study a variety of topics from books of the Bible,
Bible based studies
on parenting and relationships, and also challenging issues
facing Chrisitians today. This class
also meets for social events throughout the year and monthly
dessert nights at member's

MEETS: Dinner and social
time is from 6 to
7:30 on Sunday evenings in room 203. (we
are on break for Christmas and will come back on Jan. 6th.

This
group meets in the evening for those unable to meet in the
morning. This class consists mostly of young couples. G.I.F.T.
stands for Growing In Faith Together. The
first study this season is,
"Living a Christian
Ethical life in a Un-Ethical Society". Babysitting/Childcare

Homebuilders |
MEETS: Sunday morning at
9:30 in the Lounge. The
Homebuilders Class is geared toward early-Boomers. This
class is discussion-centered and Bible-based featuring a
variety of group led topics with class members taking a turn
in the
leadership role. During
Lent the class will be using the Lenten Study guide "Radical
Renovation - Living The Cross Shaped Life". Contact Mary

MEETS: Sunday
morning at 9:30 in Memorial Library. This
is a free-flowing Bible study group of all ages and stages
of adult responsibilities and challenges. The goal of the class
is to help each member in their knowledge, understanding, and
application of God's Word, as one develops an even closer walk
with the Lord Jesus. more |
